Subway Murals

On October 18th, 2007, the new “H” subway line of  the city of Buenos Aires has been opened to the public. This line has as a theme the dedication of each station to a different historical Tango celebrity, and the murals of the first five stations have been designed by Hermenegildo Sábat, Oscar Grillo, Carlos Nine and Alfredo Sábat. “Inclán” subway station, has been dedicated to Tango singer Azucena Maizani (1902-1970), and its murals were designed by Alfredo Sábat.
